Ball-playing goalkeeper Harvey was scouted by Swansea City playing for Cardiff & Vale Schools U13s in March 2021 and following a successful trial period signed for the Swans in June 2021 on a 12-month academy contract.

 During his first full season for Swansea City at U14 level in 2021/22, Harvey made his debut, up one age group, for the U15s and up two age groups for the U16s, and was rewarded with a further 2-year academy registration in December 2021.

 The 6ft 1” tall, dual-qualified ‘keeper won a Wales Schools U14s Cap playing against England Schools in May 2022, and also featured for them in friendlies against Man Utd, in April, and Wolves in May 2022.

 For the 2022/23 season, at U15 level, he regularly played up an age group for the U16s at his club and has been selected in the squad at U18 level on a number of occasions, up to January 2023, as a non-playing substitute. In December 2022, he was selected for the Welsh Schools U16 squad.
